Websites That Reflect the Quality of Your Business.

I design and build modern websites for businesses that do brilliant work but are being let down by how they appear online.

I help businesses look as good online as their work deserves — so the website starts bringing in enquiries instead of losing them.

Your job is the work. The website's job is to bring more of it in.

Selected Work

A small number of projects, shown properly.

The Material Reuse homepage, showing reclaimed building materials with an enquiry button

Concept project · Reclaimed materials

Material Reuse

A membership site for reclaimed building materials — the mission front and centre, with an enquiry or a call never more than one tap away.

The Miron Property and Interiors homepage, showing full-bleed interiors photography

Concept project · Interiors

Miron Property & Interiors

A calm, editorial site for premium interiors work — full-bleed project photography doing the selling, with a survey enquiry beside it.

The CCM homepage, showing aerial photography of a building project and four service routes

Concept project · Building & construction

CCM

A bespoke building firm — aerial project photography, four clear service routes and a phone number pinned to the header.

The Anglia Wines collection page, showing a filterable list of wines

Concept project · Wine merchant

Anglia Wines

A merchant's full list, filterable and searchable, that stays quick and readable on a phone — browsing to enquiry in a minute.

What I Do

Three things, done properly, on every project.

  • Website design

A site designed around your work, not squeezed into a template — and built to look right on every screen.

  • Enquiry journeys

Clear next steps on every page — call, quote or booking — so interest turns into contact.

  • Local search

Structured properly so you show up for the work you do, in the places you do it.

  • Direct with me

The person you speak to is the person who designs and builds the site.

  • Mobile first

Most of your visitors arrive on a phone, so that's the version I design first.

  • Made for action

Calls, quotes and bookings without friction — one clear next step on every page.

  • Honest advice

Including when you don't need the thing you're about to pay for.

Straightforward From Start to Finish.

  1. 01

    Understand

A conversation about your work, your customers and what a good month looks like. No forms, no jargon.

  2. 02

    Design

You see the design early and often — on your own phone, not in a slide deck — and nothing proceeds without you.

  3. 03

    Build

I build it myself — no page builders, no off-the-shelf themes — so it stays quick, tidy and yours.

  4. 04

    Launch

It goes live when you're happy, and I stay reachable afterwards — same person, same phone number.

Lighthouse scores — to be added once measured on the finished build

Load time — to be added once measured on a finished build

Client review — reserved for my first one. No invented quotes here.

Is This Right for You?

My website looks dated, especially on a phone
Most older sites were designed for a desktop screen and squeezed onto phones later. I design the phone version first, because that’s where most of your visitors already are.
I get plenty of work, but none of it comes through the site
That usually means the site doesn’t ask for anything. I build every page around one clear next step — a call, a quote request, a booking — so interest has somewhere to go.
Customers can’t easily see examples of what I do
Your work is the best argument you have, so it goes front and centre — large, recent, and organised around the jobs you want more of.
I’ve been quoted agency prices for a five-page site
Agencies carry teams, offices and account managers. It’s just me, so you pay for design and build rather than overheads — and you get a clear quote before anything starts.
Tom Ryan

You'll deal with one person throughout — me.

I'm Tom Ryan, an independent web designer in Buckinghamshire. I design and build every site myself, and I answer my own phone and email. If any of the statements on the left sounds like yours, it's worth a conversation.
